Why we built it

WhatsApp is where customers already are, in almost every country, and the tooling around it was built as if that were a novelty. Plans cap the number of people who may answer a customer. AI arrives as a separate subscription at a multiple of the platform price. Security is described as “bank-grade” and priced in a phone call.

None of those are technical necessities. They are pricing decisions, and we made different ones.

What we decided

• Do not price a team’s size. Seats are unlimited from the Growth plan up. Whoever should be answering a customer should be able to.
• Meter AI in the unit the industry uses. Input tokens and output tokens, with the allowance and the rate published, so you can check the arithmetic.
• Publish the security tier. SSO, SCIM, IP allowlisting, retention, export controls, audit export and data residency, with a price on the page.
• Publish every price. Plans and allowances are on the page, there are no overage charges, and the invoice is the plan price you agreed to, plus GST.

How we build

Every screen in the product handles being wrong — loading, empty, denied, over a limit, a disconnected Meta account, a stale read — because a product that only draws the happy path fails on the day you need it most. Authorisation is enforced on the server rather than by hiding a menu. Sessions are HttpOnly cookies, so there is no token in your browser for a script to steal. Every request carries an ID that appears both in the error you see and in the log we read.
