The product
What IconEngage actually does
Five capabilities, each with a page that describes behaviour rather than a name. If something is on a different tier, the pricing page says which.
Shared inbox
A shared WhatsApp inbox with assignment, teams, routing rules, SLA timers and internal notes — and no per-seat charge above the Starter plan.
Campaigns
Template management, approval tracking, segment-based broadcasts, opt-out handling and per-message delivery reporting for WhatsApp campaigns.
Automation
Trigger, condition and action flows for WhatsApp: auto-replies, business hours, escalation and handover, with a run history that says what happened and why.
AI
Draft replies, conversation summaries and field extraction, with a token allowance included in every plan and no per-token charge on top of it.
Security
SSO, SCIM provisioning, IP allowlisting, retention windows, export controls, audit export and data residency — published entitlements, not a private quote.
And the parts that are not features
Things that do not fit on a comparison grid and decide whether a platform is usable.
Every screen handles being wrong
Loading, empty, permission denied, over a plan limit, a disconnected Meta account, a stale read, an offline realtime connection. A product that only draws the happy path fails on the day you need it most.
It works at 360 pixels
The inbox, the campaign list and the settings are the same product on a phone, with the same permissions. Field teams are not a second-class user.
Permissions are enforced on the server
Hiding a menu is not authorisation. Every action is checked against an explicit permission on the API, and the UI reflects that rather than substituting for it.
Requests are traceable
Every call carries a request ID that appears in the error you see and in the log we read, so a support conversation starts from evidence.
See it with your own number
Connect a WhatsApp number through Meta's embedded signup and try the whole product for the length of the trial.
