Organisation settings
Rename your organisation, find its handle, and set the day boundary (time zone) that daily figures on the dashboard and reports are counted in.
Settings › Organisation holds the settings that apply to your whole organisation: its name, its handle and its day boundary.
Note: Only Owners and Admins can change organisation settings. Everyone else sees the page read-only.
Rename your organisation
- Go to Settings › Organisation.
- Edit Organisation name: the name your team and your customers see. It can be up to 100 characters.
- Click Save.
You see Organisation saved. The new name appears in the organisation switcher straight away.
If you see An organisation with this name already exists. Choose another name., pick a different name.
Handle
Handle is your organisation's short identifier, created from its name when the organisation was set up. It's shown for reference and can't be changed here. Renaming the organisation doesn't change the handle.
Day boundary
The day boundary is the time zone used to decide where one day ends and the next begins for every daily figure on the Dashboard and the Analytics reports. The card shows it under Daily figures are counted in.
Until someone changes it, daily figures are counted in UTC. If your business runs in another time zone, set the day boundary to it so "today" and "yesterday" in your reports match your working day.
The day boundary affects only how analytics figures are counted. Business hours, holidays and campaign schedules keep each department's own time zone; this setting changes none of them. See Teams and routing.
Change the day boundary
- Go to Settings › Organisation.
- In the Day boundary card, click Change day boundary.
- Under New day boundary, search for and choose a time zone (for example, type a city name).
- Read Past figures will be recounted. Every daily figure, including those for past days, is recounted on the new time zone's 24 hours. Daily and monthly totals will change, and any figure someone saved or shared earlier will no longer match.
- Tick I understand that figures for past days will change.
- Click Recount on time zone.
You see Daily figures are now counted in time zone. Past figures are recounted in the background. Until that finishes, any figure still counted on the old boundary is labelled with it.
Note: Because a change recounts every daily figure, the day boundary can be changed only once every 24 hours. If it was changed recently, you see Changed in the last 24 hours. Try again later.
If you choose a time zone that's just another name for the current one (for example, Asia/Calcutta and Asia/Kolkata), IconEngage tells you Nothing would change.
Audit log
Owners, Admins, Supervisors and Developers also see an Audit log card here. Click View audit log to open it. See Audit log.
More than one organisation
You can belong to several organisations, each with its own members, WhatsApp numbers, contacts and settings.
- Switch organisation: click the organisation name at the top left of the screen and choose another one from Organisations. Your role is shown next to each.
- Create organisation: in the same menu, choose Create organisation. You become the new organisation's Owner.
Note: On most plans an account can own one organisation. If you've reached your limit, Create organisation is disabled and the menu says Your account can have 1 organisation. Contact IconEngage to add more. Additional organisations are part of the Enterprise plan or can be enabled by IconEngage.
