The Home page

What the Home page shows while you're setting up and once you're running, and how it relates to the Dashboard.

Home is the first item on the icon rail. While your organisation is getting set up, it guides you through the first steps. Once you're up and running, it gives you a quick summary and shortcuts into your work.

What you see depends on your role: each step and shortcut appears only if your role can use it.

While you're setting up

The greeting reads Hi *your name*, let's finish setting up.

Trial card

If your organisation is on its free trial, a card at the top shows how many days are left (for example, 5 days left in your trial, or Your trial ends today). Owners and Billing Administrators see a Choose a plan button; everyone else is asked to contact their account Owner. See Plans and the free trial.

Get started

The Get started section lists the essential steps, with a progress count such as 2 of 4 done:

StepWhat it does
Connect WhatsAppOpens WhatsApp › Numbers and accounts. See Connect your WhatsApp number.
Import your contactsOpens the contact import. See Import contacts.
Create your first templateOpens a new message template. See Create a template.
Invite your teamOpens Settings › Members. See Invite your team.

Click a step to expand it and see its button. Finished steps are marked Done.

Owners and Admins also see an Open the setup checklist link, which opens the fuller setup checklist.

Hiding the checklist

Owners and Admins can click I'm done, show my dashboard (or I'm done, hide the checklist) to hide the steps for the whole organisation. You can still do every step from the menu.

Once you're set up

When the essential steps are done (or the checklist has been hidden), Home changes:

  • The greeting reads Hi *your name*, your workspace is ready, with Setup complete underneath.
  • Your workspace at a glance (Owners and Admins) shows the same headline figures as the Dashboard. On a new workspace you may see Nothing has been sent or received yet. These figures fill in as messages flow.
  • Jump back in has shortcuts to Inbox, Contacts, Campaigns, Message templates and Automation.
  • Suggested next offers optional steps that haven't been done yet: Send your first campaign, Set up an AI agent and Add WhatsApp credits. Owners and Admins can click Hide suggestions.

Home and the Dashboard

The Dashboard (under Analytics) is the full analytics view, with date ranges, comparisons and charts. Home is a lighter starting page.

  • Owners and Admins can open the Dashboard from Home with Open the full dashboard.
  • When Owners and Admins sign in, IconEngage opens Home while setup is unfinished, and the Dashboard once setup is complete or the checklist has been hidden.
  • Supervisors, Agents and Read Only members (roles that see the inbox but don't manage the organisation) go straight to the Inbox when they sign in.
  • Everyone else (Marketing Managers, Developers and Billing Administrators) starts on Home.

You can always return to Home from the icon rail. See The Dashboard.

If figures don't load

If you see Figures unavailable, click Retry.
