Dashboard

Read the Analytics Dashboard, with its key figures, charts and sections, and change the period it covers.

The Dashboard puts every area of your business on one page: messages, conversations, campaigns, your team, automations, AI and revenue, all over the same period.

Note: Only Owners and Admins can see the Dashboard. Other roles can open the individual reports they have access to.

Go to Analytics › Dashboard.

Choose the period

At the top right of the page:

  • Click Today, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days. Each one ends today, in your organisation's day boundary.
  • For other dates, click Date range, pick From and To (and Day boundary, if offered), then click Apply.

The line under the page title shows the days and the day boundary the figures were counted on, then the earlier period they're compared with, for example "16 Aug – 14 Sep 2026 · Asia/Kolkata · compared with 17 Jul – 15 Aug". The comparison period is always the same number of days, immediately before.

Under the period buttons, the page says how up to date its numbers are. See Analytics overview for what these notes mean.

If nothing has been sent or received in the period yet, a Your dashboard fills in as you go card suggests where to start.

Key figures

Six cards across the top. Each shows the figure, its change against the earlier period, and a small day-by-day line.

CardWhat it means
Messages sentMessages you sent in the period.
Delivery rateMessages delivered or read, as a share of all messages sent in the period, by the status each has reached now.
Read rateMessages read, as a share of all messages sent. Contacts who turned read receipts off are never counted as read.
Conversations openedNew conversations started by a customer's first message.
Median first responseThe middle time from a customer's first message to your first reply, by a person or an automation, over conversations opened in the period. Half were answered faster.
Campaigns sentBroadcasts that started in the period.

Changes in counts are shown in percent. Changes in rates are shown in percentage points ("pts"). When the earlier period had nothing to compare with, no change is shown. For Median first response, a fall is good.

Click the i next to a card's name for its definition and anything it doesn't count.

Note: Response times are recorded only from a recent update onwards. Conversations answered before then have no response time and show "—".

Messages

  • Messages over time: messages sent each day, stacked by the status each has reached now: Read, Delivered, Sent, In flight (not yet confirmed by WhatsApp) and Failed.
  • Delivery status: the same statuses for the whole period, as a ring chart.
  • Message types: what each message was sent as. A template message counts under its template's category (Marketing, Utility or Authentication). Any other message is a Service reply inside the 24-hour window. This is the category of the send, not Meta's bill. Older messages may show as Not yet categorised for a while.
  • By WhatsApp number: messages sent and received on each of your numbers, with each number's delivery share.

Conversations

  • Opened and resolved: conversations opened and resolved each day. If the two are counted on different day boundaries, they're drawn as two separate charts, Opened and Resolved, instead of on one axis.
  • First response time: the median time to first reply, by day.

Campaigns

  • Campaign funnel: for every broadcast started in the period, how many recipients were Sent, Delivered, Read or replied and Replied, with each step as a share of the one before.
  • Top campaigns: your broadcasts with the most recipients, with each one's read share and replies. Click Open campaign analytics for the full list.

Note: Campaign delivery and read counts are minimums, and only replies that quote the campaign message are counted. Click the i on the funnel for details, or see Campaigns report.

Team

  • Team leaderboard: conversations each agent handled (wrote in during the period, each counted once), with how many they resolved and their median response time. Click Open agent analytics for the full table.
  • Recent conversations: the latest activity in the inbox. Click a name to open the conversation, or Open the inbox.

Automations and AI

  • Automations: runs started, completed and failed, and the share of finished runs that succeeded. Runs still waiting or cancelled aren't in the success share.
  • AI: AI replies drafted, Handed to a person and Answered by AI. If AI isn't in use on your workspace, this shows a single line saying so.

Commerce and revenue

This section appears when commerce is available on your workspace.

  • Revenue: money from paid orders, one figure per currency. Amounts in different currencies are never added together.
  • Orders: orders and paid orders.
  • Conversions: Leads and Conversions recorded in the period. See Leads and attribution.

Notes at the foot of the page

The bottom of the page lists anything that applies to the whole page, such as figures counted on two different day boundaries, or a source that couldn't be read. Click the i beside each note for details.
