Payment method
See the card your subscription is charged to, and add or update it through Razorpay's secure window.
Your plan is charged automatically every billing period through Razorpay, IconEngage's payment provider. The Payment method tab shows the card on file and lets you change it.
Note: Only Owners and Billing Administrators can see or change the payment method.
See your card
Go to Settings › Plan and billing and open the Payment method tab, or click Payment method at the top of the Overview tab.
Under Card on file you see the card's network and last four digits, for example "Visa ending 4242". If there is no card yet, you see No card on file. A card is added the first time you pay for a plan.
Card details are typed into the payment provider's own secure page. IconEngage never sees, receives or stores your card number.
Add or update the card
- Go to Settings › Plan and billing › Payment method.
- Click Update card, or Add a card if none is on file.
- Complete the change in Razorpay's window.
- Wait for the confirmation on the page.
After you submit, the page says "Card submitted. It appears here once our payment provider confirms it — usually within a minute." When the provider confirms, you see Card updated and the new card's details.
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| Card change closed. Nothing was changed. | You closed Razorpay's window before finishing. |
| That card was not accepted. You can try another in the payment window. | Razorpay refused the card. The window stays open. |
| Our payment provider has not confirmed the new card yet... | The confirmation is slow. Check back in a few minutes; it arrives on its own. |
| The payment provider is not available right now. Nothing has changed — try again in a moment. | Razorpay could not be reached. |
If a payment failed
If a renewal payment fails, your subscription becomes Past due. Updating the card does not charge you on the spot. The payment provider's next automatic retry uses the new card and restores your subscription. For details, see A payment failed.
Other payment methods
Razorpay's window shows the payment options it can offer for your subscription. The Payment method tab shows card details only. WhatsApp credit top-ups are paid separately each time. See WhatsApp credits.
